3rd September, 2018 Beachy Head Light overcast with sunny periods, warm NE 2

We covered Shooters Bottom and valley opposite, and then met up with RB and covered the Toilet Block bushes, Hotel Garden, Icky Ridge and we then joined GG for an hour's raptor watch. RKH, RES and KH covered some of the sites on the Headland and also at the raptor watch.
Generally very poor numbers of night migrants seen which included 7 Whinchats and a nice Pied Flycatcher which proved to be the highlight. Diurnal migration was a steady passage of Swallows and House Martins chiefly moving E, also 6 Swifts E, and 1 flyover Tree Pipit.
