26th August, 2018 Beachy Head Scattered Cloud with rain late morning, SW -S

RE and two members of the BHRG were ringing and watching in Whitbread Hollow until the rain started, and LP and colleague birded from the radio mast near the Hotel to Birling Gap covering the majority of the Headland sites and then they returned via Bullock Down.
Good numbers of common night migrants were seen which also included a Turtle Dove in the Old Trapping Area and 6 Grasshopper Warblers were trapped in Whitbread Hollow.
Diurnal Passage included very small numbers of hirundines and a number of flyover Yellow Wagtails.
