We covered Shooters Bottom, and fields opposite, bottom of Birling lane, Belle Tout wood and scrub, Old Trapping Area and the Radio Mast bushes. LP covered several sites on the Headland. GG, KH and RES were also birding on the Headland. RE was trapping in Whitbread Hollow. LP returned at 1.30 pm for an hour raptor watch.
Good numbers of Common Whitethroats with smaller numbers of other common night migrants. In Whitbread Hollow it started very slow but suddenly migrants appeared around 10.00 am. Still very little overhead movement which included 5 Yellow Wagtails E, 2 Swifts E and very small numbers of hirundines.
