Beachy Head, Langney Point and Newhaven Harbour. Overcast cool with gale force WSW winds

Hoping for a sea-watch with the gale force winds. First stop was Birling Gap where we did a 40 minute watch but other than a few Gannets and Gulls little was seen. Decided to try Langney Point which meant I could sit in the large shelter, but again nothing seen moving here not even any Gannets. Called in at Newhaven Harbour on our way home, high tide but enjoyed the view of the waves breaking over the western breakwater.
