8th August, 2019 Beachy Head Overcast warm and humid. W 0-1 increasing to 2-3

We covered Birling lane, Birling scrub, Shooters Bottom and valley opposite, Old Trapping Area, radio mast bushes, Hotel Garden, Icky Ridge and Belle Tout wood and scrub. During the morning we met up with AR, KH. RKH, RES, LP who were all covering various sites on the Headland, RE and MB were ringing and watching in Whitbread Hollow.
A reasonably fall of common night migrants on both the Headland and Whitbread Hollow. 3 Tree Pipits and 1 Yellow Wagtail flew over the Headland.
