26th August, 2019 Beachy Head Very hot and humid, E 1

Another very hot day. We covered all the usual sites on the Headland. Briefly met up with LP covering from radio mast bushes to Shooters Bottom. Paul and Gareth James who had covered a large area from Birling to the Old Trapping Area including fields around Hodcombe area and they kindly updated myself with their migrant numbers.
Reasonable numbers of common night migrants which included 2 Pied Flycatchers and good numbers of chats etc. LP had both Tree Pipits and Yellow Wagtails on the move over the Headland. Hirnudine passage was generally light with small numbers of Swallows and Sand Martins logged.
