5th July, 2109 Beachy Head Chiefly overcast hot and humid Wind W 3 decreasing to 1-2

We first visited Shooters Bottom but no sign or sound of the Nightingale and fewer Whitethroats although a Lesser Whitethroat was seen. We then covered Birling lane, and the scrub opposite, the Old Trapping Area and Belle Tout wood and with the humidity I became very tired so we called it a day.
