19th November, 2016 Beachy Head and West Rise marsh Early frost otherwise sunny W 2-3

Short visit to Beachy covering Birling lane, Birling loop and Belle Tout wood. No diurnal migration recorded with just the odd migrant seen with the highlight being a Black Redstart in Birling car park.

We then decided to visit West Rise Marsh and we met up with both Richard Fairbank and Kris Gillam.

Small numbers of Teal, Wigeon, Shoveler, Tufted Duck, Gadwall, and Pochard seen

Bearded Tit 3+ (2 males and 1 female)
