Over the last few days, bird reports from Rye Harbour N.R. have included a summer plumage American Golden Plover, Roseate Tern and a Montagu's Harrier, so we decided to try our luck with a visit this morning, but needless to say no sign of any of the above. Even so an enjoyable morning with good numbers of breeding birds including a good few young birds seen and some good photo opportunities.
