9th July, 2015 Beachy Head Fine Sunny and warm NW 2 increasing to 3

Covered all the main sites on the Headland. Good early morning Swift movement with birds moving west out to sea and over the Downs. Other highlights were 3 juvenile Yellow legged Gulls together off Birling and 2 juvenile Little Gulls drifting west with several Black-headed Gulls.

Swift 745W between 06.30-08.00. Many out to sea with others moving over the Downs.

Large numbers of Common Downland Butterflies ie Meadow Browns, Gatekeppers, Skippers,
80 Marble Whites, 1 Dark Green Fritillary.
