4th July, 2015 Beachy Head Overcast with mist cool,becoming sunny SW 2-3

After the last few eventful weeks birding around Sussex, it was back to the mundane stuff with a visit to Beachy. Surprisingly, it was cool and misty during the early morning and no sign of any early returning migrants, with the highlight being a pod of between 8 and 10 Bottlenose Dolphins moving east past Birling.

Greenfinch 3 (2 adults with a juvenile)
Linnet c100 many juvs seen
Goldfinch 25 including fair numbers of juvs.
