26th April, 2013 Seaford

On our way through Seaford going to Beachy we saw a party of 10 Waxwings in a tree behind the railway station. We quickly pulled into the medical centre car park behind the station and we were able to take a few pictures, unfortunately in the rain. They were feeding on the new tree buds. No sign of the birds later in the day on our return home.
I also had 3 Whinchats at Beachy, and it is the first time I have seen Whinchats and Waxwings on the same day.
