17th April, 2013 Cyprus Day 8

Our final day on Cyprus. Yesterday's wind had died away and a beautiful warm sunny calm morning. Our final early morning visit to Cape Greco, the stubble field and pines before returning for a late breakfast and to finish packing our bags. Leaving late morning, we drove first to Okorina marsh and then to the hide at Larnaca Sewage Farm and a brief tour around the salt lakes. Generally not to many migrants present although Ortolan Buntings had increased to 20 with an impressive flock of 15 now in the stubble field and a fine Collared Pratincole at the Sewage Farm.
Returned the hire car back to Hertz and then departed on the 4.40pm flight to Gatwick.
