14th August, 2020 Beachy Head Overcast mild W light.

RE was ringing in Whitbread Hollow, and LP visited Cow Gap. RJF spent  from 6.00am to 03.00 pm
covering the Hotel Garden, Cliff path and onto the Rides, and then back to the radio mast bushes and onto the Old Trapping Area. From there he visited Shooters Bottom returning via Bulling Down. He then drove to Birling visited the lane and Michel Dene, and onto Belle Tout wood area.
RE found Whitbread Hollow to be fairly quiet for migrants but otherwise a nice selection of migrants were seen on the Headland which included 4 Spotted Flycatchers, 3 Pied Flycatchers, (which includes one seen in Cow Gap) and 8 Whinchats.. Overhead migration was very quiet.

Willow Warbler 43 (12 Hollow and 31 Headland).
Spotted Flycatcher 4 (Singles: Rides, near Old Trapping Area, Shooters Bottom, and Michel Dene).
Pied Flycatcher 3 (1 Cow Gap, 1 Shooters Bottom, 1 Michel Dene)
