RE was ringing in Whitbread Hollow but generally quiet with only small numbers of night migrants were present.
ASC was covering the Headland sites and recorded 3 Woodlarks flying over the Headland.

20th October, 2018 Cool at first becoming fine and sunny NE 2.
We covered Birling lane, Shooters Bottom and Hotel Garden. RE and MB were ringing in Whitbread Hollow. Chris Bird was also covering Birling to Belle Tout area. ASC was covering the Headland sites and SL covered Shooters Bottom, Went Hill, Micheldene and then back to Belle Tout.
Unfortunately, a film crew had taken over a number of the car parking sites, and as usual they are arrogant enough to think they own the whole area.
Small fall of Goldcrests and Song Thrushes with a late Sedge Warbler in Shooters Bottom. Diurnal migration saw our of first small movement of Wood Pigeons and also finches and Skylarks.
