10th March, 2018. Beachy Head Overcast, cool with murk out to sea. S 1-2 increasing to 4, rain later.

We sea-watched from 06.30 to 08.30 with what I would consider to be a typical mid-March sea-watch. We then covered Old Trapping Area, Hotel Garden, Icky Ridge area, Shooters Bottom, the Old Trapping Area, and  Belle Tout wood. 2 very active female Stonechats briefly in the Old Trapping Area were almost certainly new migrants. A Great Spotted Woodpecker flew into Belle Tout wood was our first for the year.
