14th May, 2016 Beachy Head Overcast becoming sunny late morning, cold N-NE 3

Covered most of the sites on the Headland and met up with Bob who had also covered the Birling loop.
Very cold unpleasant wind and virtually no new migrants seen. LP visited Whitbread Hollow area and saw 1 Hobby (maybe yesterday's bird). Usual numbers of breeding Common Whitethroats now seem to be holding territory although in the cold wind a lot less were singing compared to yesterday and no sign of yesterday's singing male Firecrest .
