23rd April, 2016 Beachy Head Clear cold N 4

We sea-watched from 07.25-08.10 but with a cold N wind little was seen although the highlight was a fine summer plumage Black-throated Diver. We then covered Birling Lane, Shooters Bottom, Icky Ridge, Cliff Path and Belle Tout .We met up with of Ron Knight who had also covered several sites. A reasonable fall of Wheatears but otherwise just a single Redstart and the odd Swallows were seen, and not a single warbler was seen or heard.
