7th October, 2019 Beachy Head Overcast mild W 1

An overcast calm morning. We covered Shooters Bottom, Old Trapping Area, Hotel Garden, Cliff Path and Belle Tout wood. ASC was covering most of the sites on the Headland walking from radio mast bushes to B/T wood, AR covered Francis Bottom, Cow Gap and Gully, Cliff Path. MM was covering Birling lane area and Belle Tout wood. RE was ringing in Whitbread Hollow.
Still good numbers of Chiffchaffs, and Blackcaps with an increase in Goldfinches. Highlights included 21 Ring Ouzels, and 5 Firecrests still reasonable numbers of Swallows and House Martins and several parties of Blue Tits moved along the Cliff Path.
