We covered Birling lane, Belle Tout wood, and Shooters Bottom. RE and 2 members of the BHRG were ringing in Whitbread Hollow, RAB and RB covered part of the track to Long Down, Cliff path and upper rides above the Cliff path, Icky Ridge, radio mast bushes, Hotel Garden and Old Trapping Area. SL and JG walked from Birling to Micheldene, Birling loop, Belle Tout wood and Shooters Bottom. A number of other birders were also present.
Good numbers of Chiffchaffs, but fewer Blackcaps and a few other migrants including our first Dartford Warblers of the Autumn, also a Tree Creeper, Ring Ouzel and both Hobby and Merlin.Very little happening on the diurnal migration front.

Tree Creeper 1 Shooters Bottom (re-acted to tape play-back of Tree Creeper, but no reaction to tape play back of S.T Tree Creeper. It also had very white flanks.
