LP visited Birling Gap, Belle Tout wood, Old Trapping Area, Hotel Garden area and Radio mast bushes.
An arrival of Goldcrests with 70 present, 2/3 Firecrests, 2 Black Redstarts in the Hotel Garden area, 20 Redwings, 20 Song Thrushes, and 1 Brambling.
25th October, 2019 Generally overcast, cool, SW 3 increasing to 4-5.
We visited with Terry and covered Birling lane, Belle Tout wood, Shooters Bottom and the Old Trapping Area. RE also covered Birling lane, Belle Tout wood, Cornish Farm track and Long Down.
LP was covering several sites on the Headland including Belle Tout wood. Both Margaret and Rufous were in Shooters Bottom and recorded the Firecrest.
Generally a very quiet day for migrants and diurnal migration.
