17th October, 2019 Beachy Head Overcast with showers, SW 1 increasing to 5.

RE covered Birling lane, Belle Tout wood and Cornish Farm track, MM also covered the Birling and Belle Tout areas, Went Hill and Shooters Bottom. RAB and RB covered Holywell, Radio Mast bushes, Cliff Path and Upper Rides, Icky Ridge,  Hotel Garden, Shooters Bottom and Belle Tout wood and scrub. AH was also covering a number of Headland sites.
Another good arrival of Chiffchaffs and reasonable numbers of Goldcrests, with around 8-9 Ring Ouzels still present in Shooters Bottom, with the highlight being 2 Short-eared Owl one which showed well in the Belle Tout area and the second was flushed in Shooters Bottom.
