AR and KG visited Whitbread Hollow and Cow Gap areas and recorded the following:
Nightingale 1 singing in Whitbread Hollow
Black Redstart 1 sub adult singing Francis Bottom
Wheatear 1 Francis Bottom
Sedge Warbler 1 singing Francis Bottom

RE covered Birling lane, Birling loop and Belle Tout wood, Cornish Farm track, and Shooters Bottom. RAB carried out a and bird survey at Crapham Down, and Long Down Valley, AR paid a brief visit to Shooters Bottom and LP covered the Old Trapping Area, Belle Tout wood, and then walked from Shooters Botom, through the Top Fields behind Hodcombe onto Birling and then back via the Birling loop and Belle Tout lighthouse to Shooters Bottom.
