26th April, 2019 Beachy Head Light overcast, clear and cool S-SW 4

Met up with RAB and we sea-watched from 05.45-09.45. RE covered Birling lane, Belle Tout wood and scrub under the old lighthouse, Whitbread Hollow and Shooters Bottom. LP was covering some of the sites on the Headland including Shooters Bottom where he heard and briefly saw a Subalpine Warbler sp. It became very elusive and several of us searched for it but without success.
Not to much was happening on the sea, other than yet another movement of Mediterranean Gulls. Just odd migrants seen in the bushes and no visible migration.
