18th March, 2019 Beachy Head Clear and overcast, mild, W 3

We sea-watched from 06.55-07.25 in good weather conditions, but no sea-bird movement was logged. We then covered Belle Tout wood, Radio mast bushes, Hotel Garden, Icky Ridge, Old Trapping Area, Shooters Bottom, and Hodcombe with RHC.
RE covered Birling lane, Belle Tout wood and the Cornish Farm track and LP covered the Birling and Belle Tout area.
LP noticed small numbers of Meadow Pipits present along the road and a total of 6 Firecrests were seen today, with our first White Wagtail for the Spring. A very dark looking Redwing was present in the Hotel Garden and possibly belonged to the Icelandic race  coburni.
