Tuesday 7 March 2017

7th March, 2017 Beachy Head Partly overcast clear and mild W 3 decreasing to 2

We did a brief sea-watch from 06.45-07.15 but with a westerly wind, no movement was seen. We then covered Birling lane, Birling to Belle Tout loop, Belle Tout wood, Shooters Bottom, Old Trapping Area, Hotel Garden and Icky Ridge. Two superb Firecrests were found in the wood although they were extremely active just allowing some very poor record shots.
