14th March, 2017 Beachy Head Periods of sea-fog otherwise overcast cool W 3-4

Poor visibility out to sea with periods of thick sea-fog rolling in. Attempted two sea-watches between foggy periods, 06.20-06.50, and 08.00-09.10, and Richard Butler joined us. We then covered Birling lane, Birling loop, Belle Tout wood, Shooters Bottom and the Old Trapping Area. Met up with RB who was also covering the Headland and RE was birding in a very foggy Whitbread Hollow.
