Weather wise perfect, bird-wise dismal. Met up with RE and we covered Birling lane, Old Trapping Area, Hotel Garden, Icky Ridge and Shooters Bottom. Bob also covered Birling loop and Belle Tout wood. Difficult to understand why Sussex are virtually missing out on most of the goodies being seen in other parts of the UK. Another small diurnal passage recorded but just the odd migrant seen which included 1 Ring Ouzel.
