30th October, 2016 Beachy Head Early mist becoming overcast with odd sunny periods warm E 0-1

Another quiet Autumnal morning for birds although a slight improvement since our last visit. We visited Birling lane, Shooters Bottom, Old Trapping Area, Hotel Garden, Icky Ridge, Belle Tout wood and Cornish Farm track. Met up with SL and RB who were also covering the headland and RE was ringing in Whitbread Hollow. Just a small trickle of diurnal migration while migrants seen included 2 Firecrests, 2 Ring Ouzels, and 3 Black Redstarts. Combined totals as follows:
