29th August, 2016 Beachy Head Overcast becoming warm and sunny N 1 to W 1

With another change in the wind direction and some early morning showers we were again hopeful for a fall of migrants but generally fairly low numbers seen. We met up with JK at Birling and covered Birling lane and scrub opposite, Shooters Bottom, Old Trapping Area, Hotel Garden, Icky Ridge, Cliff Path and Belle Tout wood. RE with members of the BHRG were ringing in Whitbread Hollow. Highlights was a Pied Flycatcher in Whitbread Hollow.
