8th October, 2015 Beachy Head Fine sunny and warm. Wind light

We covered all the usual sites on the headland with the exception of Belle Tout loop although we did cover Belle Tout wood. Early morning arrival of Chiffchaffs but these quickly moved off. RKH found a Yellow-browed Warbler around 08.00 am  in the Old Trapping Area and kindly telephoned us and we arrived from Birling within minutes and immediately saw it. It was very active with about 15 Chiffchaffs but after 20 minutes the Chiffs departed and the Yellow-browed flew off at the same time moving east. Otherwise small numbers of Goldcrests and Blackcaps with 2 Ring Ouzels. Diurnal migration was fairly minimal.
