2nd September 2015 Beachy Head Fine becoming overcast cool N 2-3

Arrived at 06.30 and we covered the Birling area. Whilst in Shooters Bottom we received a telephone call from Kris Gillam who had just found a Red-backed Shrike. We quickly met up with Kris and after some searching we connected with the Shrike. We also covered the Hotel Garden. Good numbers of migrants present and also a reasonable passage of Swallows with smaller numbers of Sand Martins. Many thanks to Kris for the telephone call.
