10th September, 2015 Beachy Head Fine sunny and very clear. E 2-3

With an east wind blowing hopes were for some eastern promise, but as it is so often the case our hopes were soon dashed. Covered all the main sites on the headland but generally night migrants were in short supply and no sign of any drift migrants. Hirundines were again moving east but only a few Siskins were logged although several were heard but not seen.
