24th January, 2015 Littlehampton, Barnham, Amberly Wildbrooks (Viewpoint) and Steyning Sewage Farm.

In fine sunny weather we decided to visit a number of sites locally in West Sussex and our first site was to the Western beach at Littlehampton to try to see the returning Kumlien's Gull which is now in 2nd Winter plumage:

Sanderling 10
Mediterranean Gull 6
Kumlien's Gull 1 2nd Cy.

On our way to Steyning we past Amberly Wildbrooks and from the Viewpoint we saw many Wigeon and Teal with reasonable numbers of Pintail and 2 Ruff.

At Steyning Sewage Farm up to 10 Chiffchaffs were seen including the 2 Siberian Chiffchaffs.
