28th December, 2014 Pett Level

We decided to visit Pett Level today to try to see the Lesser Yellowlegs. Reasonable scope views as it remained distantly and several times it flew after being chased by a Redshank. Two Avocets also flew over the area.
An adult Yellow-legged Gull showed very well  roosting on the bank of the roadside pool, also 1 adult Scandinavia argentatus Herring Gull.
