22 Oct 2014 Beachy Head

Received a telephone call from JK advising us of the adult male Red-breasted Flycatcher was being seen in the Old Trapping Area and Doreen and myself quickly made our way there where we met up with a number of other observers and although the bird at times was very active it generally kept its distance but showed well on a number of occasions. It had been seen earlier in the morning by Tony Cook, and I was able to get a number of photographs . A real stunner and the first adult male we have seen at Beachy.
