21st Jun,2014 Gills Lap and The Old Lodge, Ashdown Forest

We first stopped off at Gills lap and spent the morning watching on and off the Short-toed Eagle. We then moved to The Old Lodge where we saw juv. Redstart, Woodlark, Tree Pipit and also a selection of dragonflies which included the following:
Emperor Dragonfly 4
Keeled Skimmer 6
Broad-bodied Chaser 2
Four-spotted Chaser 1
Large Red Damselfly 3
Azure Blue Damselfly 10
