Shortly after we returned it started to rain hard. Shared taxi came to collect us to take us to Noto airport for the internal flight back to Tokyo. Arrived back early evening but rain very heavy and after a meal we made our way to the ferry terminal as we were picking up the night ferry to Hachicho-jima leaving around 11.00pm.
