19th July, 2011. Burgess Hill & Old Lodge

Another visit to Old Lodge to look for Black Darter. As we walked out of our house a Common Buzzard was soaring over our garden.

Following was seen at Old Lodge:

Greater Spotted Woodpecker 3

Common Redstart 5 (including 2 males).

1-2 Emperor Dragonflies

1 female Common Darter

Several Small Red & Blue type Damselflies.

Common Buzzard over our house in Burgess Hill, but it is

showing some characters of a vulpinus.
