Driving through Newhaven, and LP came on the phone with the news of a juvenile Glaucous Gull found by JP and himself,  on the beach at Newhaven Harbour and a quick de-tour and within a couple of minutes we soon connected with this.

News of a Hume's Leaf Warbler which has been present since late December in a nearby park  opposite the waste incinerator on the opposite side of the river has now been made public. We spent around 2 hours looking, and saw the Hume's on about six occasions and it was occasionally calling, but very active giving fairly brief views.
