29th September, 2018 Beachy Head Fine and sunny becoming warm E 2

Another beautiful sunny calm morning. Doreen and myself covered Birling lane, Shooters Bottom, Toilet block bushes, Hotel Garden and Icky Ridge, Old Trapping Area and Belle Tout wood.
RE and two members of the BHRG were ringing in Whitbread Hollow. Another small fall of Chiffchaffs but otherwise just small numbers of other night migrants. Very little in the way of diurnal migration with the highlight being another Marsh Harrier moving E out to sea off Birling.
