24th September, 2018 Beachy Head Sunny, cold at first becoming warm N 2

With a light but cold N wind and clear skies, expectations were not great. We covered Shooters Bottom, Old Trapping Area, Toilet Block bushes, Hotel Garden, Icky Ridge and Belle Tout wood, and RE was ringing in Whitbread Hollow. Reasonable numbers of Chiffchaffs and Blackcaps with Meadow Pipits in good numbers with a number seen coming in over the cliffs, a Siskin moved W overhead and 2,000 + House Martins, with many moving W, and still the odd Sand Martins with them.
