14th August, 2018 Beachy Head Fine and sunny becoming overcast NE 1 increasing 2

A beautiful calm morning but it proved very disappointing for the numbers of migrants seen today.
We covered Shooters Bottom, Hotel Garden and the bushes near the toilet block, Icky Ridge, Old Trapping Area and Belle Tout wood and scrub. Bob and 2 members of the BHRG were ringing and watching in Whitbread Hollow. Highlights were 2 Grasshopper Warblers, a Nightingale and an early Goldcrest.
