7th April, 2018 Beachy Head Overcast dull ESE 2-3

Met up with RAB and AR at Birling and sea-watched from 06.20-10.20 although after 90 minutes we decided to cover the newly ploughed field up to Cornish Farm, and we also covered Belle Tout wood. RE covered Birling lane and the Birling loop and he also walked the Cornish Farm track with myself.
Sea-watched produced a drake Garganey, and our first Whimbrel and Swallow of the year although the area was again quiet for migrants although 8 smart White Wagtails were now present in the ploughed field.
