27th April, 2018 Beachy Head Overcast dull with odd showers SE 1 increasing to 3

We joined RE and sea-watched from 05.50-10.05. A somewhat disappointing sea-watch with SE winds and at times very slow with the highlight being 6 Velvet Scoters and a fine s/p Black-throated Diver but sadly no Poms. RE also covered Birling lane and Belle Tout wood whilst we covered Shooters Bottom and the Old Trapping Area and LP also covered several sites. Little seen in the way of night migrants.
