1st July, 2017 Ditchling Common

We had a walk over Ditchling Common and managed to locate around 10 Purple Hairstreaks but unfortunately they kept high in the oaks, although one did come down lower and we obtained a reasonable view, but no pictures. Also saw 2 Commas, 3 Ringlets, 2 Essex Skippers, 1 White Admiral and a female Broad-bodied Chaser dragonfly.
