29th April, 2023, Seaford Head.
Doreen, Terry, Anne-Marie and myself decided to twitch the White-crowned Sparrow at Seaford Head during the morning. Arrived around 11.00 am with about 25 other birders present. After around 30 minutes the Sparrow appeared in the bushes about 20 yards from us and showed well for about 20 minutes and Terry managed to take a number of photographs.
Not to many other migrants seen on the walk down to the site, with around 6 Common Whitethroats, also several Cetti's Warblers were heard singing and one showed well at the White Crowned Sparrow site.
