12 August, 2020 Beachy Head. Very hot and humid E-SE 1

Another very hot and humid night and after yesterday's heat we decided due to health reasons to stay at home. NP paid a brief visit to the Headland during the early morning and RE covered part of the Cornish farm track, Birling lane, Belle Tout loop, and Shooters Bottom and LP concentrated covering the top of the Headland bushes.
Although numbers of night migrants tended to be on the low side, 2 Pied Flycatchers (making a total of 5 different birds since Sunday), but still very low numbers of Willow Warblers. A Marsh Harrier past the Headland out to sea.
Combined totals:

Marsh Harrier 1 moving past the Headland out to sea. (LP)
Green Woodpecker 2 Headland
Tree Pipit 1 flyover Headland
Yellow Wagtail 1 Headland
Pied Wagtail 15+ Birling
Common Redstart 2 (1 Hotel Garden, 1 Shooters Bottom)
Common Whitethroat 30+ Headland
Willow Warbler 6 Headland
Pied Flycatcher 2 (1 Old Trapping Area, 1 near Hotel Garden)  (NP & LP).
