10th October, 2019 Beachy Head Sunny periods, cool W 4 increasing to 5-6

A blustery morning made watching in the bushes difficult. We covered Birling lane, Belle Tout wood, Shooters Bottom, Old Trapping Area, Icky Ridge and the Cliff Path. RE covered Whitbread Hollow, Francis Bottom, Cow Gap, Cliff Path and Shooters Bottom. Also met up with BI at Belle Tout.
Still reasonable numbers of Ring Ouzels and Chiffchaffs present, but otherwise fairly quiet with 2 Yellow Wagtails still feeding around the cattle on the Headland. Diurnal migration was chiefly Goldfinches with 450 west.
