We joined RAB and sea-watched from 05.50-11.30. We were joined for some of the sea-watch by , RHC, LP, RE, RKH, RES and KH. LP had covered radio mast bushes to the Old Trapping Area, and Shooters Bottom and RE covered Birling lane and Whitbread Hollow.
A much slower sea-watch compared to yesterday, but reasonable numbers of Bar-tailed Godwits moving, another good movement of Mediterranean Gulls and a superb Pomarine Skua.
Once again the birding sites were quiet although our first Nightingale of the year was in full song in Whitbread Hollow which was a previous breeding site for this species.
